Ani has forged an impressive international career in infrastructure investment. She currently serves as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure for Asia-Pacific at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM).

Dux of MLC School in 1998, Ani was a highly accomplished student known for her exceptional debating and public speaking abilities, winning numerous state and national awards. In Year 11, she earned the Young Achievement Australia NSW Business Person of the Year Award, highlighting her early leadership and business skills.

Ani graduated with First Class Honours in Law and a Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, where she also served as President of the USyd Union. She later completed an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where she was a George F. Baker Scholar and Frank Knox Fellow.

Her global career with UBS and Goldman Sachs, focused on infrastructure investment. After returning to Australia in 2013, she rejoined Macquarie and led the creation of its Digital Infrastructure business. Promoted to her current leadership role in 2024, Ani now oversees infrastructure investments across the Asia-Pacific. She also serves on several boards, reflecting her deep commitment to impactful, community-focused infrastructure development.

(Ani’s daughter is Year 6 student Avery Satchcroft.)
