Amanda is a dynamic and award-winning sports journalist and broadcaster who has become a leading advocate for equality in sports media. MLC School 2003 School Captain, Amanda immersed herself in leadership, the arts, and sport during her time at school—highlighting her talents in both academics and extracurriculars. She credits MLC School for nurturing her love of sport and giving her the confidence to thrive in the male-dominated world of sports broadcasting.

Currently the Deputy Editor of ABC Sport, Amanda oversees the ABC's 50:50 Equality Project, which aims to improve the representation of women and diverse voices in sport coverage. Her extensive career at the ABC has spanned digital, radio, and television, where she has worked as a presenter, reporter, commentator, producer, and editor.

Amanda has covered major international sporting events including the Paris 2024 Olympics, the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and five Paralympic Games. In addition to her journalism, she co-hosts the award-winning ABC Kids podcast Dino Dome and has appeared as a guest presenter on ABC’s Back Roads.

Amanda’s career is driven by a commitment to representation and equity in sport. Through her work, she continues to champion the achievements of women and underrepresented communities in the sporting world.
