Alice is a dynamic and accomplished composer, conductor, arranger, singer, and educator whose work spans contemporary classical music, choral music, musical theatre, theatre, and sound art.
At MLC School, Alice was Lester House Captain, a Prefect, and an academic high achiever, earning prizes in English Extension 1 and Music, as well as the Premier’s Award for All Round Excellence in the HSC.
Alice went on to graduate with First Class Honours in Composition from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and later completed a master’s degree in Paris. She is a three-time finalist in the APRA AMC Art Music Awards and won the 2024 Award for ‘Work of the Year: Large Ensemble’ for Through Changing Landscape.
Her music has been performed in prestigious venues worldwide—from the Sydney Opera House to Trinity Church in New York—and featured in major productions including the hit musical FANGIRLS (she is the original vocal arranger and music director of the musical). She also contributed to the Amazon Prime series Deadloch and the Netflix documentary Wide Open Sky.
Now based in Sydney and Head of Composition at MLC School, Alice is a passionate educator and creator. Her interactive and inclusive approach to music-making continues to inspire both performers and audiences around the world.
