The challenging four-day ride starts at Kirrawee in Sydney’s southern suburbs and ends 600km away at Thredbo. Once at Thredbo, and with just one day’s recovery, she will compete in the Gravity Mountain Bike event at the Thredbo Cannonball Festival.

To add to her challenge, and to raise as much money for Pancare as possible, Jody has announced she will hike to the top of Thredbo for each of her five race runs down the mountain.

Jody’s dear friend Luke, her colleague in the bike industry for over 25 years, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She is taking on this challenge to support Luke and others affected by upper gastrointestinal cancers (pancreatic, liver, stomach, biliary and oesophageal cancer).

MLC School is proud of Jody and is in awe of her ambitious challenge. You can support Jody and make a difference to the lives of those affected by upper gastrointestinal cancers by donating here.
