Yesterday, as the Australian artistic gymnastics team was finishing at Glasgow 2026, MLC School Old Girl, Breanna Scott (2019) "nailed a flashy balance beam routine"* to win Gold on her favourite apparatus.

Breanna claimed her first individual Commonwealth Games silver medal in the Women's Gymnastics All-Around Final, adding another remarkable achievement to her growing list of accolades. She produced a career-best performance, scoring 52.900 to finish a close second behind Canada’s Ellie Black (53.050) – locking in her individual podium finish following an exceptional display on the balance beam.

Breanna was also a key member of the Australian team alongside Georgia Godwin, Kate McDonald, Ruby Pass and Emily Whitehead, helping secure Gold in the Women's Team Final and Individual Qualification, keeping Australia’s perfect women’s gymnastics team medal streak alive.

The true sportswoman she is, Breanna said to ABC News: "The team gold was such a special medal for all of us, and that was really the main goal coming into this. All of us in finals now getting these extra little medals is just topping it off."

The Australian artistic gymnastics team finished this year's Commonwealth Games with four Gold, one Silver and four Bronze.
