Congratulations to the MLC School Old Girls who will be competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the Old Girls who will be officiating at the Games. The MLC School community is proud of you all!

Competing at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games

Keesja Gofers (2007), competing as part of the Women’s Water Polo team, Keesja will be attending her third Olympic Games after Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

Ella Beere (2016) – Canoe (Women’s Sprint).

Breanna Scott (2019) – Gymnastics (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics).


Officiating at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games

Carolyn Broderick (1982) – Medical Director of Australian Olympic Team (first female Medical Director of an Australian Olympic Team).

Anne Gripper (1982) will be at Paris 2024 as a representative of the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Executive Committee and Chairperson of the Integrity Commission.

Holly Edstein (2009) will be attending the Paris Olympics as a Sports Dietitian within the Performance Services team. 


As a special mention, we also congratulate MLC School staff member Scott Carpenter (Head of Senior School Operations) whose daughter Ellie Carpenter will be representing Australia as Vice Captain of the Matildas.
